Fast forward kinematics algorithm for real-time and high-precision control of the 3-RPS parallel mechanism

摘要:

A new forward kinematics algorithm for the mechanism of 3-RPS (R: Revolute; P: Prismatic; S: Spherical) parallel manipulators is proposed in this study. This algorithm is primarily based on the special geometric conditions of the 3-RPS parallel mechanism, and it eliminates the errors produced by parasitic motions to improve and ensure accuracy. Specifically, the errors can be less than 10-6 . In this method, only the group of solutions that is consistent with the actual situation of the platform is obtained rapidly. This algorithm substantially improves calculation efficiency because the selected initial values are reasonable, and all the formulas in the calculation are analytical. This novel forward kinematics algorithm is well suited for real-time and high-precision control of the 3-RPS parallel mechanism.

用遗传算法求解供水泵站的效率优化问题

摘要:

供水企业向来是城市的用电大户,其用电量主要体现在泵站水泵机组的电耗上。供水泵站的高效运行对节约电能、安全供水具有极为重要的意义。文章对供水泵站的效率优化问题进行了探讨,在提出用指数曲线准确地拟合水泵性能曲线的基础上,建立了供水栗站效率优化问题的数学模型,并设计了相应的遗传算法进行求解,仿真实验结果表明了该算法合理、有效。

摘要:

在“KDD中双库协同机制的研究(Ⅰ)”的理论基础上,实现了对知识库的简约并实现了双库协同机制的两个协调器,从而建立了由KDD融入双库协同机制的新结构模型——KDD*,这是一个在结构和功能上相对于KDD而言的开放的、优化的扩体。基于双库协同机制与KDD*,提出了挖掘关联规则和聚类规则的新算法,充分体现了内在机理研究对主流发展的影响,开辟了一条全新的研究方向与路径。

Extended two-fluid model applied to analysis of bubbly flow in multiphase rotodynamic pump impeller

摘要: This paper presents an extended two-fluid model based on the Navier-Stokes equations and the standard turbulence model, to simulate the three-dimensional air-water bubbly flow in turbo machinery. In the governing equations, the drag force and added mass force are added and the additional source terms arising from fluctuations of gas volume fraction are considered. The discrete equations are solved using a developed two-phase semi-implicit method for pressure-linked equations, consistent (SIMPLEC) algorithm in body-fitted coordinates with a staggered grid system. Simulation is then carried out for the pure liquid flow and air-water two-phase flow with the inlet gas volume fraction being 15% in a multiphase rotodynamic pump impeller and the pump head performance is predicted. Comparison with experimental results shows the reliability and commonality of the numerical model.

摘要:

为了在计算机数控(CNC)加工过程中实现零缺陷生产,开发有效的异常检测诊断系统势在必行。然而,由于加工过程中机床和工装的动态条件限制,目前在工业生产中采用的相关诊断系统所能发挥的作用往往非常有限。为了解决这个问题,本文提出了一种全新的异常数据驱动的诊断系统。在该系统之中,我们持续收集随动态加工过程而产生的状态监测功率数据,并以此支持在线诊断分析。为了便于分析,我们设计了预处理机制对所监视的数据进行去噪、标准化以及校准。随后我们即从监控数据中提取关键特征,并定义阈值以识别异常。考虑到加工过程中机床和工装的动态条件,用于识别异常的阈值可以调整。我们还可以基于历史数据利用果蝇优化(FFO)算法优化阈值,以实现更准确的检测。通过实践验证,我们证明了该系统在工业应用中的有效性和巨大前景。

摘要:

基于非正交曲线坐标下水流与污染物扩散输移的深度平均数学模型,采用k-ε双方程湍流模型和速度—水深耦合算法,应用于实验室连续弯道的水流及污染物扩散输移的数值模拟,分别计算了流场及岸边和中心污染物排放的浓度场,得到与实测值吻合良好的计算值。

GIS-based numerical simulation of Amamioshima debris flow in Japan

摘要: Debris flow is a rapid flow which could lead to severe flooding with catastrophic consequences such as damage to properties and loss of human lives. It is important to study the movement of debris flow. Since during a debris flow process, the erosion and deposition processes are important, the no entrainment assumption is not acceptable. In this study, first we considered the debris flow as equivalent fluid and adopted the depth-averaged govern equations to simulate the movements and evolution of river bed. Secondly, the set of partial differential equations was solved numerically by means of explicit staggered leap-frog scheme that is accurate in space and time. The grid of difference scheme was derived from GIS raster data. Then the simulation results can be displayed by GIS and easily used to form the hazard maps. Finally, the numerical model coupled with GIS is applied to simulate the debris flow occurred on Oct. 20th, 2010, in Amamioshima City, Japan. The simulation reproduces the movement, erosion and deposition. The results are shown to be consistent with the field investigation.

退火-遗传算法寻优及其实现

分析了遗传算法及退火算法的优缺点,提出用退火算法改进遗传算法局部的最优值搜索效率低问题。退火算法与遗传算法融合后,使算法在寻优结果上更加迅速精确。通过水泥的配比工程实例,与单纯的遗传算法的结果进行对比,说明该方法是有效的。

Experimental and numerical study on microcrack detection using contact nonlinear acoustics

摘要: This paper introduces a non-classical nonlinear acoustic theory for microcrack detection in materials, comparing contact nonlinearity with material nonlinearity. The paper’s main work concentrates on the experimental and numerical verification of the effectivity of contact nonlinear acoustic detection by using the contact nonlinear parameter , which can be represented by the ratio of the second-harmonic amplitude to the square of the first-harmonic amplitude. Both experiments and numerical tests are performed. The results show that is sensitive to the initiation of microcracks and varies with the development of the microcracks. The numerical test illustrates the decline of when microcracks penetrate each other.

An investigation on prevalent strategies for XFEM-based numerical modeling of crack growth in porous

摘要: Crack growth modeling has always been one of the major challenges in fracture mechanics. Among all numerical methods, the extended finite element method (XFEM) has recently attracted much attention due to its ability to estimate the discontinuous deformation field. However, XFEM modeling does not directly lead to reliable results, and choosing a strategy of implementation is inevitable, especially in porous media. In this study, two prevalent XFEM strategies are evaluated: a) applying reduced Young’s modulus to pores and b) using different partitions to the model and enriching each part individually. We mention the advantages and limitations of each strategy via both analytical and experimental validations. Finally, the crack growth is modeled in a natural porous media (Fontainebleau sandstone). Our investigations proved that although both strategies can identically predict the stress distribution in the sample, the first strategy simulates only the initial crack propagation, while the second strategy could model multiple cracks growths. Both strategies are reliable and highly accurate in calculating the stress intensity factor, but the second strategy can compute a more reliable reaction force. Experimental tests showed that the second strategy is a more accurate strategy in predicting the preferred crack growth path and determining the maximum strength of the sample.

Multiobjective image recognition algorithm in the fully automatic die bonder

摘要: It is a very important task to automatically fix the number of die in the image recognition system of a fully automatic die bonder. A multiobjective image recognition algorithm based on clustering Genetic Algorithm (GA), is proposed in this paper. In the evolutionary process of GA, a clustering method is provided that utilizes information from the template and the fitness landscape of the current population. The whole population is grouped into different niches by the clustering method. Experimental results demonstrated that the number of target images could be determined by the algorithm automatically, and multiple targets could be recognized at a time. As a result, time consumed by one image recognition is shortened, the performance of the image recognition system is improved, and the atomization of the system is fulfilled.

Comparative seismic design optimization of spatial steel dome structures through three recent metaheuristic algorithms

摘要: Steel dome structures, with their striking structural forms, take a place among the impressive and aesthetic load bearing systems featuring large internal spaces without internal columns. In this paper, the seismic design optimization of spatial steel dome structures is achieved through three recent metaheuristic algorithms that are water strider (WS), grey wolf (GW), and brain storm optimization (BSO). The structural elements of the domes are treated as design variables collected in member groups. The structural stress and stability limitations are enforced by ASD-AISC provisions. Also, the displacement restrictions are considered in design procedure. The metaheuristic algorithms are encoded in MATLAB interacting with SAP2000 for gathering structural reactions through open application programming interface (OAPI). The optimum spatial steel dome designs achieved by proposed WS, GW, and BSO algorithms are compared with respect to solution accuracy, convergence rates, and reliability, utilizing three real-size design examples for considering both the previously reported optimum design results obtained by classical metaheuristic algorithms and a gradient descent-based hyperband optimization (HBO) algorithm.

Optimal design of steel skeletal structures using the enhanced genetic algorithm methodology

摘要: This study concerns with the design optimization of steel skeletal structures thereby utilizing both a real-life specification provisions and ready steel profiles named hot-rolled I sections. For this purpose, the enhanced genetic algorithm methodology named EGAwMP is utilized as an optimization tool. The evolutionary search mechanism of EGAwMP is constituted on the basis of generational genetic algorithm (GGA). The exploration capacity of EGAwMP is improved in a way of dividing an entire population into sub-populations and using of a radial basis neural network for dynamically adjustment of EGAwMP’s genetic operator parameters. In order to improve the exploitation capability of EGAwMP, the proposed neural network implementation is also utilized for prediction of more accurate design variables associating with a new design strategy, design codes of which are based on the provisions of LRFD_AISC V3 specification. EGAwMP is applied to determine the real-life ready steel profiles for the optimal design of skeletal structures with 105, 200, 444, and 942 members. EGAwMP accomplishes to increase the quality degrees of optimum designations Furthermore, the importance of using the real-life steel profiles and design codes is also demonstrated. Consequently, EGAwMP is suggested as a design optimization tool for the real-life steel skeletal structures.

Simulation of viscoelastic behavior of defected rock by using numerical manifold method

摘要: Numerical simulations of longitudinal wave propagation in a rock bar with microcracks are conducted by using the numerical manifold method which has great advantages in the simulation of discontinuities. Firstly, validation of the numerical manifold method is carried out by simulations of a longitudinal stress wave propagating through intact and cracked rock bars. The behavior of the stress wave traveling in a one-dimensional rock bar with randomly distributed microcracks is subsequently studied. It is revealed that the highly defected rock bar has significant viscoelasticity to the stress wave propagation. Wave attenuation as well as time delay is affected by the length, quantity, specific stiffness of the distributed microcracks as well as the incident stress wave frequency. The storage and loss moduli of the defected rock are also affected by the microcrack properties; however, they are independent of incident stress wave frequency.
